2026 Summer Patio Series

Join The African American Legacy Project for First Tuesday on the Patio at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. September’s featured guest, Dr. Romulus Durant, Superintendent of Toledo Public Schools, will discuss how TPS is preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s opportunities through a 21st-century approach to teaching, learning, and educational innovation. The event will take place on the patio of The African American Legacy Project, located at 1326 Collingwood Boulevard in Toledo. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
